Our Story
Emmaleah Yeager, founder of Animal Liberation Rescue, found her love for animals at a young age, with a group of pet rabbits. This colony taught her invaluable lessons about the worth and significance of each individual animal. She learned firsthand the importance of compassion, respect, and empathy towards all living beings, shaping her commitment to animal welfare and advocacy. Emma is currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Zoology. She is joined in this academic pursuit by her Co-founder, Nikolai Palanza Krause, a fellow student studying at Chapman University. Nikolai has shared experience with equines as well as exotic pets. Their shared passion and education drive them to collaborate in aiding animals in need, aiming to make a difference together.
Our Values
Animals
Adopters
At the heart of our organization lies a shared commitment to animal welfare. Our core values center on providing care and support to vulnerable animals aiming to prepare them for loving forever homes. We hope to educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership and how amazing our small pets can be.
We are thankful for adopters who support us and our animals. We strive to understand our adopters needs to ensure successful, long-term placements that align with our adoption policies. We aim to find the perfect matches for our pets and adoptees. All adoption applications are reviewed and any denials are made only with our pets' best interests in mind.
Donors
Our vision and mission are made possible by the kindness of donors. We value their support and show appreciation by promptly acknowledging their contributions and providing updates on how their donations are utilized. Understanding their motivations, we aim to foster a sense of gratitude that encourages ongoing participation in our cause.
